WHY I HOLD A CAMERA

I am a 17 year old photographer in West Linn, Oregon. I started taking photos when I was 14. I borrowed my mom's professional DSLR camera to go out and take photos of my brand new mountain bike. When I did so, I fell in love. The depth and color I could achieve with a professional camera blew me away in comparison to every photo I had taken with my phone. After discovering my interest in photography I began taking photography classes at my school. Additionally, I submitted to hours of tutoring from my mom. I am now shooting high profile events and shows, along with high school sporting events across the Portland metro area. I have formed connections with sports editors at local newspapers and am being published regularly along with working with other large creators online on instagram.
