Hey there! I am Miles Butler
I would describe myself as a car enthusiast, and an avid photography nerd. I specialize in automotive photography along with aviation, and sports photography, I dabble in motorcycles, portraits, weddings, landscapes and more. Some of my favorite shoots include photographing the Portland Timbers, Indy Car, and the U.S. Navy Blue Angels. Photography for me has opened many doors I never thought would be possible. Its unlocked experiences I will never forget. Being able to photograph my friends who play sports, and provide them with photos, as well as photograph professional athletes who I previously could only watch on national television is such a great experience.
Unforgettable EXperiences
Photography has led me down some unforgettable roads. The experiences I have had that are a result of holding a camera and knowing what buttons to push leave me staggered. I have photographed the Portland Timbers, the U.S Navy Blue Angels as seen here, Indy Car, concerts, motorsport events, exotic cars and more, and the memories I have made while doing so I consider to be priceless.
Unlocking bucketlist moments
In 2026 I began photographing the Portland Timbers Football Club. As a huge fan it was heart-stopping to be sitting on the field only a foot or two away from Portland's star forward Kristopher Velde. I got my first all access unlimited field pass to the match against St Louis City FC. I can still vividly remember walking past Timber Joey, an iconic figure in Portland soccer culture, and then shaking as I tried to hold in my excitement throughout the match. I remember saying to myself when I was sill rather inexperienced as a photographer, that one dayyyyy, I would be on that field, photographing those players, and then it ended up coming true.
A obsession with Cars
You know I cannot really explain it. Since I was little, and I mean litttttttle, I have always been into vehicles, now I'm not going to pretend like way back then my favorite automobile wasn't a dump truck. However, the passion was still there, and over time that has evolved into a genuine appreciation for automotive design, internal combustion, driving, and speed. As cheesy as it may sound, when I arrive at a car event and walk into a parking lot filled to the brim with exotic cars it feels as though its Christmas Morning and Santa brought me all the cars I could dream of. Then reality sets in and I realize I most likely will never be able to afford any of these cars, but hey, I can dream. I love Porsche, something about the timeless design philosophy and the attention to detail draws me In, I geek out about specs, paint colors, options, carbon fiber, you get the point. Certified car nerd, i'll admit.
